While the layout takes some getting used to (non list form), the ability to refine your searches via categorically clicking on a topic is very nice. Some popular searches even yield tabs along the top. They also are very focused on privacy and apparently have out indexed google by x3.

One thing is for sure: their marketing is very good, Im reading about this everywhere! I like how they are using a black background(if google had a black background it would save 750 Megawatt hours a year), Ill try using it as my starting page for some days.

I wonder how much of the Google 'magic' is in their algorithms? It was founded not only by ex-Google folks, but by a person who wrote a search engine that Google liked so much they purchased.
