I'm sure you guys have seen these around, but I thought it was fun.
It's a online quiz to see if you can tell the difference between photos and 3d renders. I got 12 out of 12, bi**hes [Yes, first try]. What about you?

Twelve out of twelve answers are correct. Excellent-- a perfect score and a superior performance. )
Same here. The blinds were the only one I got wrong, and it was mostly the glow.
The blinds and the damn bears...
That was so easy! you can tell right off the bat if there real or fake doesent take a genius.
the bear, the icewater, and the blinds.
icewater was just stupid, it looked CG and then i assumed it was real.
the bears looks bumpmapped, and the bumps are all the same, and rods looks fake.
And the blinds has that post-effect around the wire.
That door looked like a painting to me ... seems like im the only one
Door and blinds got me. thing that made the door seem fake was the extreme contrast of shadows from the wall to the upper portion of the door, but knew that was sort of a 50/50 chance that it was just a photo with contrast adjustments too. But no, you'r not the only one Yozora :P
the wrench and the bears got me...freakn bear has repetitive patterns and detail wth!
Got the window blind wrong, now I look at it again it's obvious.
Blinds had too nice glow I think. heh.
hehehe .... super ... you found the the 13th picture ... ??? "hehehe"

The door got me.
was too lazy to enlarge all the pics :X
The bears were tricky but I figured that an actual artist wouldn't have made the molding issues on the bear's right cheek repeat throughout the image
my sins
incorrect:
9/12: Bears, Blinds, Hammer
Bears must have been from a mold. So many cloned blemishes on the texture.
Glow on blinds threw me a curve ball. I didn't even look at them 1.5 sec and clicked CG.
Could have sworn I saw stretching in the hammer texture. Apparently I was wrong.
I got the same and didn't enlarge the thumbnails either (I didn't even know you could or that gator woulda been toast ).
Doesn't help that all the pics are too small even when enlarged (and when enlarged have so much compression that there's almost no point). I literally flipped a coin on the gavel.
the clock was easy, there's always a distance between LCD and protective cover (glass, perspex) where as this looks like the LCD is ontop of the glass with no gap therefore must be CG. Bad CG.
The reason I got tripped up on the door is I thought no wall could be that clean...
And tower bridge is so CG, how can anyone think that was real??
