This is the first time for me to post on here. What I'm working on is a 1968 pontiac firebird... I know what a bore but I like cars. Its for my portfolio in my Animation studio class. I plan on making this car along with a scene of an old garage... like the car is being restored. The poly count is 1,236 9I haven't reduced yet, I'm still building it. I'm still figuring this site out so I appologize for not having anything shown.

Maybe it's just my eyes, but i think your image could have been a bit bigger :P, as for what im seeing, those loops going in the middle wouldnt need to be there i think.

It depends on how he's going to texture it. If he, for example, is going to use a colour swatch where each polygon uses one colour from that swatch, then it will be needed if he wants some colour variation down the middle.

This is probably why it can be useful to give people more information about the artwork they are posting.

sorry for not posting anyhting for a while, I've been in some rough shape lately. Anyways here is the car at the moment. i don't like the new max that the school came out with, i can't find some of the features I use, so there is a "poly" count and not a "tri" count. I think they're same as far as terms.
