Hey Guys I thought it would be fun and interesting to see what peoples top 50 favorite films are! I was inspired to post this after hanging out with some friends at the bar tonight talking about the very same thing. Mind you this is not a list of the best films of all time, so you shouldn’t feel bad if you don’t have the Godfather on your list! This list should be comprised of films that you absolutely fell in love with for one reason or another and couldn't do without. For instance I think Schindler's list is one of the best films ever made but I’ve only seen it a handful of times and will probably only do so throughout my adult life. On the flip side I have Transformers “the animated film” on my favorites list since I’ve seen it over 30 times and will probably see it another 30 throughout my adult life.
It’s not that I think Transformers the Animated film is better than Schindler's list but for various reasons I favor watching it over and over again! Of course if I were to make a top 50 greatest films list then Schindler's would be on it. Anyways you may think 50 is too big of a list but you’d be surprised how quickly it fills up, so make sure to put some thought into it and choose wisely! By the way I came up with my list based on the number of viewings, when I first saw the films, how these films make me feel to this day, and how many more times I’ll watch them with tiring of them! That being said enjoy and have fun with it!:)
Now on to my list:
1. Star Wars / my introduction into all of geekdom!
2. Aliens / James Carmon’s best film to date 20 years running!
3. Brave heart / An epic journey

5. Terminator 2 / Arnold at his best
6. Transformers “the animated film” / pure magic, and that soundtrack rules!
7. Seven / I’ve seen it over 15 times and it’s still unnerving!

9. The Matrix / It started a hole new movement in live action films
10. Scarface / Bloody awesome

14. Pulp Fiction / Tarantino at his best!

I'm "sure" I could come up with 25 more but at 25 I'm just feeling like I'm naming obvious ones or ones that aren't that deserving...

Neo_God: Did you mean "Children of Men" instead of "City of Men" ?
The name alone should make you want to see it. Japanese movie, shot in a semi manga/comic book style, with some of the coolest characters you're likely to see in a movie.
Check out the into sequence here, which also rocks:
