Advice on costs to teach? [need quick response]

hey there guys,
i just got an offer to provide private tutoring for adobe after effects to some
ppl [ a group of 3 ], and the lady who asked for it needs a response asap.

so i was lookin for some place whichd give me a good suggestion on how much
a crash course in after effects would cost. i'll be payed on an hourly basis, so i
was hoping to find out what type of wages i can charge?

this is canada by the way.
so minimum is $8.75.

i'll definately be charging over this, i have experience in teaching
3d animation and web design for 2 years at summer camps, and
i tutor kids as my part time job. plus, this is an arts field, and not
some labour work.. and i'm a legal immigrant tyvm.

if anybody could _please_ give me an indication of what would be
an appropriate price quote, i'd be extremely greatful.

need the answer asap. hope to give her a quote by tomorrow, if not
then by friday

thanks in advance guys!

For 3 students, I'd think 40 an hour would be about right for that.

Sort of tough to say. Unless you have some sort of certification or professional experience I don't think you could charge quite as much as a normal course would charge.

But you definitely don't need to worry about being below minimum wage.

I'd say somewhere between 25 and 40 bucks an hour. Probably a bit on the lower end of that though, 40 may be a bit high.

woah thanks guys! that was faster than expected...
i get to quote an estimate today itself i guess.

i'm gonna ask for 25, and prolly end up with a bit lessafter negotiations. but i'm thinking 'not a dollar less than 15'

    once again thanks!
any more opinions / advice would be great =D
i have till tomorrow latest anyway
