Had an Immunology exam on Monday, have a Medical Semiology one tomorrow and Microbiology next week, so yeah I'm piss off, I'm bad and I don't like happy people these days....

my boss called me saying i'm not going to be able to use the facilities promised to me for an animation camp starting on monday, pretty pissed since i got the all clear 3 months ago and its all because IT claims it will take the next 2 months to reformat and configure the 15 computers i need.
0.25 computers a day, good deal for them.

Two months. wtf is that. I had to configure over 30 Macs all by myself, do clean installs, I did it in a week, one by one because I didn't know how to do it over the network.So I just figured it out on the fly. By the end I pretty much knew all the tcp ip settings of the machines. I had to reinstall all the art software. Freaking easy? Do they have to go to the moon to do this? Sorry to hear that. Ask your boss if he could find a computer lab assistant at a local university I'm sure he will be more than happy to do it, for dirt cheap money too.

I missed the Make Something Unreal deadline by 7 minutes last Friday because I forgot about the time-zone difference. After spending bucket loads of time on the thing I'm still a bit down about that one. :P Especially cause it's a gametype and there are no more phases of the contest with gametype categories.

Even though I'm slowly getting rid of my OCD it feels awful. Yesterday I found out that a local company which could hire me as a level designer(I was going to work part-time last year though they wanted me to work 3 days each week full time and I didn't have enough time because of school) canceled their RPG project which means they don't need a level designer anymore Going bald as well but don't care much lol

just found out that the car i bought off the boss barely 6 months ago and was planning on trading in for new one has lost all of it's resale value since then. Something to do with the price of petrol and people not wanting V6s any more or something. Bloody wimps. And yes i am getting rid cos i can't afford to run it any more. But that's not the point. Hmm just came off a bad month socially,first met this great girl,hit it off real well became a couple shortly then she had this emotional breakdown and decided she wanted to be alone. Fine i moved on. Then i dated 4 or so women in that same month and all of them ended up in dead ends. So bottomline,spent alot of money taking women out with nothing to show in the end.

Next month ill also be poor due to the large amounts of cash ill be dropping to buy a ticket to go and visit my family back in the states.

I think truly brilliant visual effects are achieved when they need not be mentioned because they should blend so brilliantly with the live action that it enables the viewer/reviewer to concentrate on more important aspects (plot, characterisation etc).
