I always struggle with texturing eyes and this model is no exception
He has a bad case of spooky eye. I have tweaked the shape of the eyelids and tried various things but I cant get them looking natural. The rest of the texture is still wip
There must be something pretty basic wrong with them but I have been tweaking them for so long I cant see objectively anymore, any advice is appreciated

.Cast shadow from the eyelid to the eyeball
.very wet highlight on the ball and at the junction of the lower eyelid ('wetline')
.deep black pupil (t's a hole)
.iris shape inwards
.transparent cornea bulging out
.blurred transition between iris and white of the eyeball
Gnomonology.com has a free intro to eyes modelling and rendering video tutorial btw. Didn't watch the whole thing yet but it might bring some good ideas.
