weird issue?

So, several times now, I've been sculpting in mudbox, and then suddenly, my computer will start emitting a continuous beeeeeeeeeep sound and my computer will freeze up completely. This has only happened in mudbox. I cant tell where the beep is coming from. It has only happened in the last few days right after I moved my computer from one place to another.

I cant even tell wtf is making the beep in my comp.

Any ideas?

The motherboard can beep to tell the user of an error. Is the thing overheating? Make sure all the fans etc are working, but you might already have done this? A few weeks ago my pc made some weird noise, the main fan died and I didn't notice at first. Also check that the graphics fan is working, it would suck if thing was overheating. Good luck.
