there's stuff from the past 4 years. Most of it is freelance based through Liquid and in-house at Eyecandy (both great external studios!) - Still more to come as I get permission.

Yea must just be my connection. I was able to look at Joshvitos just fine but yours just seems to like to sit loading and then pop up with untitled. Makes me sad inside. Maybe i should stop my render and then try.

Love your work, Joel. Really nice range of stuff, all pretty impressive.

If I had to give one crit, it's that your website feels pretty... outdated. The content is all there, but the splash screen (so 1999!) and right-hand-side navigation menu are killing the useability for me.

I kinda wish the thumbnails were a bit bigger too.

I recommend you check out Caroline Delen's portfolio site for a pretty awesome layout. No splash screen, straight into the good stuff as soon as you connect to the site, that's the way it should be done. Simple, clear navigation. I'd say her thumbnail images should be a bit bigger too, but in general it should be as clear and straightforward as possible.

As a freelancer I'm sure you know that it's all about getting the clients... why should you make it harder than necessary for them to get to see your work?

I've to agree with MoP though and I'd add that your host is damn slow from here in Belgium, but hey, don't know if you can do anything about it, so nevermind. Your work deserve this little waiting time

Nice stuff. Your shapes are somehow really understated, in the way that you just have large shapes, connected with a few tendons, rather than exaggerate everything. I loved those guys in Oblivion. They were the first thing I saw in the extension that made me think 'alright, finally some believable, proper character-work'. Since I played the sneaky type, they were also basically just the first creature I saw.

edit: I do agree that it takes far too many clicks to even get to your thumbnails.

Awesome stuff! Works fine for me in IE and Firefox. MoP brought up some good ideas for the layout. Something more simple might also load quicker if your host is kind of slow, but I didn't seem to have a problem with speed.

I'm looking forward to what else you have to show, when all gets cleared! Don't let those personal projects go slack, I think some of those are your greatest pieces.

Woot it worked for me tonight when i was on my normal PC profile and not my Work Room one.

Great work man. No Crits there.

Only thing that kinda bugs me (not sure if it is just my screen rez) but everything seems really really small. the type and thumbnails. your not really sure what you are clicking on. So thats my 2 cents.
