I haven't been keeping up on Starcraft2 so whats a Gidralisk? Looks like a Hydralisk to me? Must be a new unit?
Crits:
The armor plates/scales tend to hang off away from the body a bit and be kind of chipped and cracked, but you have really smooth flat plates.
Good chunks of the body are covered in uniform ribs that look kind of like muscle. Most of the zerg I've seen have a lot more armor plating especially around the shoulders/upper arms.
What catches my attention is his tail. It just looks wrong. Either it is the pose as in he doesn't look vicious enough OR it could be cause it isn't as defined as the rest of the model. Maybe too chubby?
And when I think about the pose again it is slightly more cartoonish. Think of snakes in cartoons when they curl themselves around objects to be able to "stand upright". Usually these kind of creatures have a lot of muscles so they can actually stand up without having to grabbing hold onto something. I'd think of a hydralisk as a snake really.

Here's a random image of a snake I found:

Now all of this is of course up to you. Just naming things I think makes it not feel like an "original" hydralisk.
Zergs Win!
