FPS Weapon - Cubik - M14 mix

Since I can't draw I quickly cut and pasted some photos together. Mainly used photos of the new M14 but there are some P90 and Famas stuff in there too. Bulky as fuck but could be interesting to model.

Thanks guys, I went for a mix between all of these for model. It has tons of problems right now; the scope sits too high, lots of sloppy modeling issues and has a pretty doring fp profile, but right I'm motivated on working on some personal art for the first time in months so it's all good.



Will add a tons of mid level detail before I'll start the low poly.

Yeah the eotech has a bit more shape to it, and it shouldn't be quite as tall either, right now thats really hurting it in FPV, an then the general flatness as well. Keep it up man!

its lookin pretty good so far. As stated above the holosight (love those by the way) need a lil work....Im not sure if you did this on purpose or not but looks like the outer shell piece or whatever you call it is fused together with the rest of it whereas there should be a little cushion in between. If thats not what you're goin for; no sweat...great start man

Eric: I completly missed that first time around, still not sure if I got the uv space to spare for making it a hull instead of fused with the rest of the scope, we'll see.

EQ: Yeah fixed that. I personally like the fact that it is fairly flat as a contrast to the busier areas in the middle so I won't change that too much.
