Nothing more profitable than a war that is demanded by all sides...
Yeah, because dumping billions and most of your nation's industrial power into armaments and ammunition, losing hundreds of thousands of working people's lives, and having major population centers decimated by bombings makes loads of money. :poly005:
Nobody is going to ww3 because no one can without taking catastrophic losses. If full scale industrial war on that level was actually profitable it would have happened fifty years ago.

Keyser, no, in the case of a major industrial war between superpowers at this stage truly everybody loses. That's the primary reason we haven't had one since ww2, and why the cold war ever happened.
Yes, you don't need to make a new post for every new or updated piece of military machinery you find. We're not a military themed forum. You've now got this thread for it, your own special home for anything else you may find in the future.
its an IFV, weighting 27 tonnes, carrying 6 soldiers, and armed with a full-auto bofors 40mm gun.
and the swedish light tank,
the cv90120
armed with a 120mm low-recoil gun, and fitted with active protection, its similar in concept to
the FCS, but a vastly better design. plus its ready for production too.
and the AMOS 120mm twin mortar:
and the 62.5 tonne swedish main battle tank, the stridsvagn 122 fitted with the IR abosrbent barracuda net:
What are the cages used for? prematurely detonating/deflecting AP rockets and the like?
the cage is used to catch RPG rounds, ATGMs, and other slow-flying HEAT based warheads.
its also fairly effective against HESH and HE(although tanks got nothing to fear from rounds like that.)
the bars are spaced enough apart that if the crew is lucky, the RPG is catched between the bars, and the warhead is damaged, drastically reducing its RHAe effectiveness.
if its not detonated, it will fall to the ground and detonate, or remain stuck in the cage, and detonate when the fuse runs out, or become a dud.
this is possible because most RPGs and missiles travel very slowly, around 300m/s.
an AK-47 bullet travels at 800m/s, and a tank shell travels at 1200-1800m/s, depending on the gun, and ammunition fired.
