I wore fitted jeans, a black long sleeve button shirt and a pair of Nike Terminators to my interview and got the job without a hassles.
But echoing pretty much the same thing as everyone else, just wear something clean and neat and you'll be fine.
put together a really nice "kit" of commando gear, that way you wont have to explain yourself when you pop out of a ventilation duct into some dudes office. You can just look at him, and in your best raspy voice say, "I'm here for the job."
I wore a nice pair of jeans, fitted tshirt, casual blazer and a nice pair of heeled boots. Only that last one might not be applicable to dudes going to interviews, I guess...
As a general rule of thumb you want to go dressed 1 step up from what you expect their normal clothing to be like. So for example most game studios have a casual clothing policie so smart jeans with a dress shirt and some smart shoes / boots is usually good enough
If you go dressed too smart, i.e in a suit for example you risk giving the impression that you don't actually know what the games industry is like.

I concur. You can't go wrong with the Borat look.
