I did actually start this a fair while back, and figured this was a good excuse to finally get around to finishing it. Hopefully that's not against the rules in any way.

I think it depends on how much you had done, if you had this sitting around at like 75% with just a few things left to finish it off i would say yes that is definately against the rules, but if you just barely had a start on it i think that would be ok. Its not really fair to everyone else if you already had a huge headstart.

This is how far it had already been at. It's a considerable amount, so if you think it's too far along that's fair enough.

Yeah i think thats a bit too far =P Lets see what jesse says about this because he is the one running it after all. Regardless i think you should definitely finish it.

While this is looking bad ass it is really too far along and thus wouldn't be fair to the other competitors.

Please though still finish this awesome gun for your own pleasure and see what you can crank out for the contest.
