Hey guys,
I've never made a gun before, and i thought it was time i learned subdivision modelling, so i'm gonna make one
. Gonna go realistic, because it's my first time and i don't have any idea how to design a realistic gun
.
this is one i was thinking about:

If you guys know of some cool rifles with good reference images that are somewhat more unique i'm open to suggestions.
thanks in advance!

Instead of the m16, though, why not model a more unique weapon based off of the same design?
The SPR is a special forces sniper rifle.

The hk416 and the m468 are both modern successors to the m4, the carbine version of the m16.

Or if you do want to go with the vanilla m16, consider one being used for a more specialized purpose, like this marksman varient.

i looked through the webpage EQ posted and googled some more guns, and i think i'm gonna go with this one:
Magpul MASADA, not the crappy Bushmaster variant, if you want to get fancy.
