I like em but I think the top needs more stuff to be more interesting. They remind me a bit of the star wars storm troopers guns. I think once you look at the fvp you might have tweek some things. That tutorial looks cool too, so I decided to buy it.

Pretty cool. Looks like it could use side rails, if you want to resemble modern guns like the SCAR and the HK 416.

Also, both stocks have shapes that would indicate they're collapsible, but i have no idea how they would possibly collapse. Either more solid shapes or a construction that would allow them to telescope would look a lot better.

added thumbs 3 & 4 above, I'll probably draw new stocks for them since every thumb should be different, just feelin lazy.

The stocks are more of the slightly adjustable variety, I will thumbnail out some more varieties though, I guess I should stop cheating and copy-pasting the rest of the thumbs.

I'll see if I can add in the side rails, I plan on making a bunch of accesories to mix 'n match on the gun so the more rails the better.

I like number 3 but i dont really like guns that look really blocky, i think the revolver is my fav gun

I like number 3 too, it jumped out at me most. number 2 is cool too, 1 and 4 seem more generic and less detailed.

Did 5-9 today, not sure how I feels about them. It's looking like number 3 is gonna be the one, I'll try some looser thumbs tomorrow, I've been doing most of these with a square brush. I'm gonna have to start modelin' eventually.

I think 5 and 8 have the most interesting shapes. I'm not a fan of scopes, with the exception of reflex sights.

I also dig 1, but most gun nuts want tons of attachments, so I'm probably in the minority.

how you like the el coro downloads? I was thinking about getting them only 23 bucks.. not much info on what they entail though, I read somewhere that it has 3dsmax too.. any idea?

Yeah, it's worth the price, you get two videos and his work images (haven't checked those out yet). In the second video he does a quick 'n dirty model, renders out a first person perspective and draws over that.
