Too bad they had to land it in the most boring looking safe flat area they could find, but hopefully it might catch some cool pics of the huge dust devils that are supposed to be around there, and ofcourse when the place starts getting covered in snow in the martian winter.
fly, if there is life on mars how ever basic they will not do anything to try and bring new life over. So lets hope for a dead planet that can be teraformed with some algae and microbial life. I would love to see the beginnings of a black mars. Black because of the black algae needed to start mass production of o2.
I still really want to see Venus all up close and personal. As in a satellite that can map the planet and a rover to traverse it. To me Venus and Europa sound like a better bet for life to me.

The air pressure on Venus is about 100 times that of the Earth, and the surface temperature runs around 500 °C. If there's any life on Venus, I hope we never meet it, because it'll probably kick Earth's ass :P
