Best layout for sending in an art test?

Alright,

I'd like to really impress them by not only the art test itself I've been working on, but the presentation.

They asked for the usual things like various render forms (flat-shaded, etc.), time it took for various assets, etc. and the images I used for reference.

Now, I'm I have a ton of references I have used, many of which came from me personally using my camera and also my scanner, so is it best to shrink all of these down, and lay them out in a PDF file, along with a chart for the time it took, etc.?

I'll also be sending them the scene files as well, and am going to test the 3d file on various computers just to ensure they will not have any problems on their end.

So any advice?

None of it is anywhere near important as the end result, put all your extra time into that. The rest is simply to show that you aren't sloppy, and will only be glanced at briefly. Presentation is fluff. Just don't be a mess, show the best-quality finished product you can, and you should be OK.

The only thing they'll care about is how good the product is. Make the art test great if you want to impress them.

Just echoing what has been said here. I wouldn't worry so much about the layout. When I did the test, I just named everything accordingly, zipped up what they asked for, and sent it in.

Another way to put it... if you put your fabulous art piece in an alien format that people at work can't open to view...they will delete it without compunction...
