i've been posting infrequently on polycount for about a year and never got around to posting my blog until now, so have a gander, I update weekly :P cheers!
You could post all images in one post, there is no need to bump your thread every minute.
Anyway cool stuff. Some stuff is hard to make out because it lacks some contrast and on the first guy the angle you draw him in makes it really hard to figure out what his head looks like.
I decided to try my hand at digital painting again recently and I'm trying some new methods. Trying to learn what I can from some tuts and youtube resources, but having a hard time really applying all of them... comes with time I suppose.
Anyway my progress has been better than expected so I'm gonna try to revive my thread.
couple hours of paint this afternoon
a better-than-expected attempted portrait of my gf painted from a photo reference... pretty close... there's some subtle little things killing the likeness...
