Since than i've been hard at work making a map that creates an entirely new theme and texture set for TF2. Here is a bridge ive recently created, and some trees, ect. Crits and opinions appreciated! Thanks!
This map isnt ready to be shown, but heres an idea of what it will look like, keep in mind i just threw this together really fast for the purpose of posting. 100% custom ground texture blend, trees, and sky, ect.
Whats left? Giant robots, temple statues, submarines, sharks, new textures, and this guy..

It would be awesome if this was a dynamic object that shook around as characters crossed it.
I really like the feel of the wood and the chains its just nice. Any tips for people wanting to make a celshaded-esque texture you seem to know the secret.

looked fine to me, it was quite obvious that it had no specular at all, but maybe darkening it would be good anyway.
