Hate to give this bad of a crit, but i really think this needs a lot of work. Shading seems messy, his skintone is weird, the pose is awkward, it doesn't really look like akuma, aside from the outfit, and i have a lot of doubts about the anatomy.

Was http://www.genghiskwan.com/gallery/2d/ak.jpg last year's? It's much better, i really like it -- and most of the rest of your gallery.

yea i agree... the anatomy needs alot of work.. and even the pose.. is so awkward.. looks like he got neck cramp or something :O but yea nice colours and the rendering is ok ! plus last years was better

if you take away his legs and change his skin colour to green, it looks like blanka

I also think the one you did last year was better.

It seems like last year you were a 2D artist ... then started doing game textures ... and forgot all about lightsources :P
