Exporting static meshes from Unreal Ed to a format I can bring into Max?

Sup, I was wondering if anyone knows how to grab a model from UT2004 in unreal ed and export it to a file that I can open in Max. My problem is that I created a great model where the pipes don't line up correctly with another model. Unfortunately the DVD I backed up the ASE and the Max file got damaged. (that thing where the back flakes off. sigh

I've looked around the internetS and can't find anything on this topic. I would hate to have to remodel, unwrap and texture this. So if I can get it back into max someway that would help me out a lot.

I appreciate any help you guys or gals could give on this.
