3D Modeller (Junior) - Cambridge, UK
Jagex Ltd, developer and publisher of online games, seeks a highly creative, enthusiastic and energetic Modeller to join our Graphics team.
Key Duties Include:
- Design, Creation and Development of art assets using in-house tools for various game projects;
- Creating Models for Environments, Objects, Vehicles and Characters;
- Following direction; briefs and Content Design & Creation procedures;
- Communicating with other departments ensuring that all departments requirements are considered during the development process;
- Contributing ideas of a graphical nature but also regarding working practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Art and Design or equivalent degree;
- A particular interest and skill in Low-Polygon Modelling;
- Must be creative and imaginative;
- A good fundamental knowledge of and ability in 3D, including modelling, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering, in any software;
- Ability to work within limitations, and create great looking low-polygon count models;
- Ability to be able to pick up new tools quickly;
- A basic knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent 2D packages.
Salary: £18k - £20k p.a. depending on experience, plus annual bonus, health care, gym membership and other benefits.
Location: Cambridge, UK. Candidates must be able to work in Cambridge or to re-locate.
