About time I got one of these threads of my own.

A painting I finished over the weekend. I was mainly playing around with shapes and patterns, good fun!

Yeah the painting is really neat! It's visually pleasing with colors and form, but a bit busy.. it's hard to tell what's going on. Post up some more!

Time for a much-needed update, methinks.

For the coloured piece, some of the face's major structural lines were drawn in off a photo to begin with (cheating, I know. :P), then my weird stencil-shape-shading method took over.

Throughout the process of painting the facial expression was changed (I'm not entirely happy with it yet). Also, the techy blue/white stuff is meant to look like water ripples, not sure if I pulled that off.

I really like your style. this last head is awesome, I want to see the rest of her rotting undead corpse rise from the gelatinous swamps.
