Finally managed to get this guy wrapped up and in editor. I tried to get it all finished before I ran out of steam and think I just about managed it - there's loads of things I would like to fix if I had time but... I dont anymore!
Came in totally over budget at around 14,000 polys - could easily optimise this alot more and I might go back to it in a bit, but for the minute I'm fine with how it turned out.
Smoke is just comped in on the beaty shot below.

Renauld: Yeah I agree the smoke looks kinda crappy- I couldn't find any photos of cool smoke to comp in there so I had to resort to handpainting it in. I really wanted to get this guy in a level and use Unreal particle FX to get some cool smoke in there... or failing that get our FX guy to do it for me but I ran out of steam. Maybe someday...
Bobo: Feel free to use the "Cloth Thread Technique of Awsomeness" - I am sure I probably snagged it from someone else along the way anyway ;-)
