hey is anyone from shiny by any chance? I have a question since the murge just recently whats going on with that studio? Are they still independent or all working on the same projects as foundation 9/ collective?
ah I was hearing from a buddy they were working on EWJ4 before they merged recently, weird they called me up saying they were shiny still....very odd..
Nah, they were never working on EWJ4, though back in 2006 they worked on Earthworm Jim PSP (under Atari/Infogrames) till getting sold off in October to Foundation9 (The Collective + Backbone Entertainment) which doesn't hold the rights to EWJ.
Double Helix doesn't actualy refer to the merged Foundation9 + Shiny, but the 'Collective' studio under Foundation9 thats merged with Shiny. And sense The Collective is working on Silent Hill 5 and Shiny is now merged with them I suppose it'd make sense that they were too...
