Started working on this cartoon style half pig, half porcupine character:

concept (i know my concepting skills aren't the greatest):

I've only been working on it for an hour or two, but any criticism is welcome.
I need to fix up the legs and add the sonic like spikes on his back.

Heh, i like his expression , you could probably loose the nostril polys tho.

Lol...the mood and the way his face looks is adorable...yeah I guess with the resolution you can prolly get way with the nostrils... perhaps the mouth edgeloops as well...

Its cool, but i thnk you should go for a more boar-like texture. Since it would allow you a perfect mesh between a pig and a porcupine.

Getting nicer, and i really like the beard effect around his mouth. Gives him a badass look.
