I've been waiting for the day where I'd be able to express how grateful I am to Polycount and its members. Whether it's from the great friends I've made in
#md or the insane amount of influence and help I've received from the boards themselves....I know that I would not have the opportunities I have today without the greatest Game Artist community on the int0rwebz!
I just landed an environment artist position with Red Storm Entertainment, and I couldn't be more stoked! I've wanted to work for RSE for several years now, and I still can't believe I'll be starting my career there!
Thank you Black and Green!

Does this mean you'll show up this Saturday? :P
Good job, dude! You have worked hard to get this.
ITs great to land a dream on the first hit.
first keen now you - my turn should be coming up for a full time pretty soon as well I hope =D
@Ely: SUSHI!
@bk: BODY BLOW! BODY BLOW! KNOCK 'EM OUT!
@Spug: shit yeah! tag, you're it!
@Vailias: aye, it is. I still can't believe it!
@Scooby: yeah, I had to complete an art test before I would be considered for the EIGHT HOUR, THIRTEEN PERSON, on-site interview. As far as sharing the art test...I didn't sign any NDA, but I know the art test I took was a brand new one introduced to better test the skills of an applicant. So, I don't really know if it would be wise of me to share or not. But, I can certainly ask...and at the very least, maybe share my final beauty shot render.
Thanks again for all the kind words, and thanks again PC! :]
Really good to hear a fellow Polycounter scoring a much deserved job in the industry. Good luck with your new job.

Also, update your sketchbook! I want to see what you've been working on after you did that concrete barrier!
My word, that is intense stuff.
Congratulations, dude. Whenever I see one of these threads, it reaffirms my PCism faith.
Welcome to the industry!
