I had a question about my workflow I was hoping someone could either telle me if Im going in the right direction or not.
I am building a spaceship corridor. Here is my suspected method
1. make lowpoly corrider and walking planks.
2.Clone that and start building the high poly corridor along with greebling
3. Once the high poly modeling is done Unwrap all and bring texture map in PS
4. Build maps and normal maps for for all objects in PS
5.Apply normal and texture maps to low-poly version of corridor.
Is that about the jist of it or am I just way off. I appreciate any help. I'm also attaching screengrab of where I'm at so far.
Thanks so much again

Also, don't use Photoshop alone to create the normalmaps, bake them from the highpoly mesh instead, also use Crazy Bump to convert painted details into normal maps, THEN you can use Photoshop to combine the various normal maps you've made.
