I finally landed a job in the game industry!!! A 9month contract position at Bungie. I still can't believe I got the job.

Hopefully I'll be up there in Redmond pretty soon. Not sure what Ferg is getting at about a social life, but you can be more than happy on the east side. Unless you're a hardcore drinker/partier/clubber (I sure as hell am NOT), you'll do fine living outside the city. And you'll save considerably more money not living IN Seattle.
As Rick said, you'll learn an insane amount on your first job, especially from those guys at Bungie. Congrats again

haha, thanks guys! Yeah luckily I have family in Seattle I can stay with for a while. So that takes a big stress off on moving up there. Not into any of those things either Vassago ha, but I do love grunge music. And I hear Seattle is full of it.

Yeah I have to somewhat echo comments about Eastside living vs Westside nightlife. I live in Kirkland for now, and I spend most of my free time on the westside. Downtown is definitely more entertaining Though living on the eastside and commuting west for fun isn't all that bad.
