Hey everyone.
I'm looking for crits/suggestions for ways to improve this character I'm working on.
The model is based on a friend of mine, outfit and all. I'm very new to character modeling -- this is only my second character, and my very first normal mapped character. I've just been going through the workflow step by step and learning as I go, which is why I started with a pretty simple concept. I'm going to rig the character with a biped this weekend so I can better pose it. Its currently sitting at 4100 polys.

besides that, it looks really good. not a fan of the haircut though
I'll adjust the size of the back of the skull to try to give it a more realistic proportion.
Just finished rigging it with a biped and putting it into a simple pose. Polycount is currently 4300. Here are some updated pics:
And as a side note, I thought the hairstyle was an odd choice as well, but it was specifically requested by the girl the model is based off of. So.
