the texture on that bird skull man thing is cool, especially on the skull eye area, the hands are also posed nicely, the shading is a bit mucky on the body, too much black. The background on that piece could also be a more helpful colour, like desaturated blue or something other than the creatures skin colour. Like the floaty islands thing too

Ged - that piece was intentionally very dark. I tend to have sharp definition between subject and background. what you see was a conscious attempt to avoid that. also, my home computer is muuuuuch brighter. looking at it at work i can barely see it. oh well.

I really like how all your images have a subtle pattern overlay type thing, kinda looks like you've just painted over some wallpaper or something. The colours are ace as well.

So I've been playing a whole hell of a lot of League of Legends lately.

A concept was posted somewhere for an upcoming skin they'll release to buy, but I got too excited and made it myself. Fun little project to keep myself busy, and some of the first personal art I've done in a long time. Hopefully more will come.
