Looks like Autodesk might be coming to a city near you (well if you're in the US) and putting on an afternoon seminar followed by drinks and elbow rubbing.

It's no party on an Aircraft carrier but I'll be going just to find out more info about Maya, Motion Builder and FBX.

I've gone to a few of these, there are usually a couple techniques I haven't seen before that make it worthwhile, but the rest of the presentation is bleh. Drinks are cool, if the people are interesting.

Maybe some day the East Coast will get a cluster of companies to warrant events more Eastern than Austin.

I'm currently attending an Autodesk Animation Workshop by Andrew Gordon from Pixar ( did the first day today, then another full day tomorrow )...been cool so far.

Heh, I guess. I didn't realize you guys up north got such event as well.

Actually in Boston we mostly get hybrid seminars that are half Architectural half Gaming, and usually it's a product-launch adver-seminar. So, not quite the same as that one.
