LCD recommendations

I'm in the market for a 2nd monitor at home, my previous monitor has moved onto my wife's desk. So far I'm looking at these HP W2207 | Dell SP2208WFP | Samsung 2253BW

If you have any recommendations on a monitor you have and like, please share

I went with two of these for home and love em. The factory settings where a bit blown out but after I calibrated them everything was great, I couldn't be happier.

I've had quite a few HP monitors over the years, and I love 'em. Dell's are pretty nice too, and we use them exclusively at work.

I have a Dell™ SP2008WFP 20-inch LCD. It's a pretty decent monitor. Good colour reproduction/viewing angle. No problems. There's a tiny dead pixel in the middle of my screen but I think that is a problem inherent in LCDs. It's hardly noticable and I had to look hard to find it. Not sure about the SP2208WFP but I think its just a bigger version of mine.

oh the dell monitors are pretty sexy. Yeah lots of good info in the thread Xeno linked to...

dell has sales on most of their stuff pretty much all the time, they also do coupons and stuff you can find around the net for just about anything, they go quick though so you have to be on top of it. and if you find a student id you can probably get things for even cheaper. and so far i'm really happy with my dell monitor at home, i got one of those 24" samsungs at work and its really not that great.

I just bought a viewsonic 22 inch for $260. Not sure how it compares with the more expensive brands, but so far I haven't found any stuck/dead pixels and the colors look gorgeous to me.
