My wife's graphics card burned-out on her and I gave her mine (I had onboard graphics to back me up). I was running a dual monitor set-up, but now just one. My material editor and render dialog window are somewhere off screen and I don't know how to get them back in view.
I know there was a thread about something similar to this a while back, but I can't find it through the search.
Any help is appreciated.

This works for any windows window thats off screen.
Also if you have Ultra-Mon installed you can hit Alt-Spacebar, then down arrow 6 times, then enter and it will move the window to the other monitor.
If all this sounds cryptic and weird, try it out on any window on the screen right now, like this browser window
[MtlEditorPosition]
[RenderDialogPosition]
The first 2 numbers after those will be the location of the window's top left corner in pixels, X Y.
Change those to something like 0 0 and restart Max. The windows should appear in the top left of your main monitor.
I swear I tried it like 20 times. I think you have to use the directional arrows on the keyboard before you can drag it onscreen. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/bring-misplaced-off-screen-windows-back-to-your-desktop-keyboard-trick/ Doing that worked.
Thanks, again, guys.
