Hi i'm searching for documents about what to consider when making racing games, what needs to be done to have good looking track when moving and in still frame and general tips on leveldesign and stuff. Never made a racinggame so all information would be nice.

One of the Lead Artists on the PGR series had a talk at the Develop 2007 conference, and a PDF on the Develop site, called "Textures and Shaders in the HD Era". Might try to find that.
Also there was another Develop 2007 talk from Neil Thompson at SCEE, called "An Artist's Guide to the Development of Formula 1 Championship Edition for Playstation 3".
