ok, i have 2 problems. one, i have a bunch of mirrored UV pieces and the normal maps dont show up right in maya. is there some good way to fix this? i have heard of makin a copy of ur normal map, flipping the green channel, and using that on the mirrored pieces but this is pretty hacky. is there a better way? also, is there a way to do it without getting the crazy seam between the mirrored pieces? i need some help with this bigtime!! thanks in advance!!!

I'm finding that Maya Derivatives just renders it wrong differently. Still not properly.
render settings as seen in some tutorial as well.
I'd like to avoid silly duplicated shading networks with flipped green channels etc.
