Hey guys, I'm Christina. New member, first post, etc etc boring introduction. I'm here to post DWIII stuff, so here we go
Anybody ever played LoZ: The Wind Waker? I'm playing it now and I like the idea of a bait bag. But what if the bait was specially cultivated berries that gave the grower control of whatever ate them? The character would be classified as an invoker with summoner powers. Race could be human or something with animal qualities (I like the turtle...I just think of turtles when I think of gardening). I also like the idea of a kid, but an adult with the knowledge to grow these berries seems much more believable. The actual artifact would be the berries (I wonder if that's allowed, since the character would technically have many of the same artifact. Stretching the rules too much?).
That's definitely a lot different than the fantasy monsters and warriors.
I like the style and the idea, but I think you could give her clothing a few more unique design features. Not armor or carved stuff etc, but shoe details, maybe another cloth hanging off the center of the apron? There was some artwork from a Japanese RPG that sort of has the colorful sparse designs I'm thinking of, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.
Made some alterations; my classmates and dfacto suggested more detail, and I think she'll look much more fleshed out with it. I like the costume on the one I colored this time, but I think I'll stick with the face and hair of the original. Classmates also suggested giving her at least a light weapon, maybe a gardening tool, so I designed a trowel and small tilling rake. Also, big gloves ftw. Yes/no/wtf?
JesterBox, I like the idea of the bag being the artifact, but the robots don't have to eat the berries - wild beasts who will destroy robots at our girl's bidding do
Big gloves rock it. And I like the little gardening tools ya've drawn up. Gotta have a short range melee weapon if yer stupidchompyface beasties are busy, right? Though I suppose 2HP a whap from a tilling rake would only annoy them...hehe

seriously though... she's gonna fight robots. If you're making a human... daughter of sarah conner should do.
great stuff, turtle for the win!
