hi guys!
I was testing if my base mesh was gonna subdevide properly by adding a turbosmooth modifier to the stack. i accidently pulled it to 10 iterations, and my computer couldn't handle that and asked me whether i wanted to back it up. i did, and now when opening the file i get this message:
i tried clicking both, but the program crashes anyways... which is bad, because i didn't save the file for a while. is there any way to set the turbosmooth modifier to 0 or disable it or something so that max doesn't crash when i open the file?
i'm using 3ds max 9.
thanks for the help!

only problem is: i forgot where to set it up that way
thanks for the help!
(or is there someone with 168 GB of memory available, so i can send him the file )
setting it to bounding box didn't work.
but now the next issue . somehow i lost my editing "cursor" (for instance, with the move tool it's the cross with wich you can move your object in only one direction.)
i have no idea how to get it back... it doesn't look like i pressed x too, because i don't see the basic cross either.
thanks in advance!
looks like it won't be such an easy fix...
thanks
