Traditional Sculpting classes in Los Angeles area

Hey guys, I am interested in taking some clay sculpting classes and was seeing if anyone here knew of any schools, classes that I can do on weekends or weeknights.

Sounds like you need to talk to Chris Ha and get in on the Jordu Schell class:D But I'd love to know of some LA area sculpting classes as well...

Hi,
I attended the three level offered by Anatomy Tools regarding the human anatomy. It's a very intense clay sculpting class with real models.
You can attend also single modules (1 for beginner, 2 for intermediate, 3 for advance), each one 5 days long.
The place is in Las Vegas.
They give you a really strong anatomy knowledge.
Now they organized this course twice a years.

I also suggest you Simon Lee, he offers his sculpting class in LA but also online.

Also Jordu Schell is a great sculptor and a great teacher. I 've never seen in person neither attended one of his classes, but I saw his DVDs from Gnomon and Stan Winston.
I've just writing a review about his Maquette Sculpting and Painting DVD's and soon will be present on the blog.

John Brown made some instructional video for Gnomon but i know that he also offers clay sculpting class.



However, I live in Italy and in Europe there are some sculptors that works with clay and in the fantasy creature or character field.

Cyril Roquelaine,  a french sculptor that also makes video tutorial on patreon for just 2$.

Aris Kolokontes, a greek sculptor that mainly work in Monster Clay (as Cyril), and he produced fantasy bust by himself.
