I was wondering if anyone has any advice on doing contract work. I'm probably going to be doing some work for Sakson and Taylor, and I want to make sure I do everything correct as far as pay, hours and stuff like that.
Also, has anyone ever worked for this company before? It would be cool to get some feedback about this company.
Thanks!

1) Lose the Blockbuster stuff. Industry people don't really care about your work history prior to any games industry experience.
2) Buy an Unreal Engine 3 game that comes with the editor and learn the new engine. No one uses Unreal 2 anymore, and I believe that you can get Roboblitz via Steam for $9.95. There really is no excuse for not being at least somewhat up to speed with the latest iteration of what is probably the most licensed game engine in the industry.
I have no idea who Sakson and Taylor is/are but I can tell you that I got my start working in outsourcing and it can be a great place to get some portfolio and resume building material. Best of luck!
