Zombie Studios is a leading independent developer of XBOX 360, PS3 and PC games. We specialize in military and survival horror, but our titles span a wide range of genres including FPS, RTS, puzzle, arcade, adventure and simulation. In addition to our genre diversity, Zombie develops for a wide portfolio of publishers, including Sega, Activision, Microsoft, Disney, Ubisoft, Take2 and America's Army.
Zombie is a low-ego, mature studio (over 14 years) based in the heart of downtown Seattle. Our seasoned team of artists, designers, and programmers all have multiple title experience from companies like Valve, Irrational, Bungie, Monolith, and Novalogic.

SEEKING LEVEL DESIGNERS
Zombie Studios is seeking experienced and passionate candidates for Level Design positions to create two exciting new titles at our Seattle studios. Level Designers will help establish the aesthetic and gameplay vision of the titles, based on the Unreal engine. Unreal is the engine behind such award winning titles as Gears of War and UT3.
LDs will work closely with Lead Designers, artists, and programmers. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient with laying out such interior and exterior 3d environments but will also understand the gameplay goals and always build with the gameplay in mind. Gameplay comes first.
Position Responsibilities:
Create, decorate and script AI in Unreal-based FPS levels
Optimize and work with engines strengths and weaknesses
Position Requirements:
Command of one or more FPS editors, Unreal experience preferable
Proven track record or experience with entire game development cycle, preferably console development
Strong game design skills/techniques with FPS titles
Ideal candidates will have experience with either horror or military games
