Shot in the dark: long fingered hands and with long slender legs ending similar to what you have at the base now and you'd have an interesting evil ent thing going on

The shoulders are different, and the connection to the arms is clever. I do think that hands belong on there, and it'd be interesting to have them where the sharp spikes are now for a two elbow look. It'd even be somewhat explained by the support from above.
