Hi all.
Just booking my spot for Dominance War. Polycounts Logo reads best for me so I'm glad to be part of the team :]
I'm probably going for a Warlord/Air Lighting combo character.
I wanted to do some sort of a symbiotic relationship between two creatures that have reluctantly become dependent on each other in the fallout of technology.
I'll post some concept I'm working on tomorrow, here's some images I'm referencing for inspiration:

Short version:
The Grout:
- He mainly navigates his environment through the air, touching down periodically to do Battle.
- He uses the Parasite tail to charge his blunt weapon (weapon is a stone pole coiled with metal, this holds the massive charge)
- His body weight is never fully on the ground (even while standing he is still supported by the Solsis) His own leg are too weak to support his over sized mass.
I'm trying to keep the color palette simple on this guy, also keep to bold shapes reads and a quirky silhouette.
I'm working on some head shape concept stuff next, I want the majority of bright colors restricted to the face.
I'll post some more stuff soon!

I want to get a psychotic vibe from the face, he is meant to be a little crazy after all. Most of the color on this guy will be in the face, I want a vibrant look to the head and a more subtle treatment to the rest of body.
A. Crazy for sure :]
B. Looks kind of Sad...thoughtful almost, hmmm.
C. Still mental looking but I see some thinking going on behind those eyes..
Any feedback would be great,
I hope to commit some serious time to this comp as soon as I find some time!

btw I don't want to add some pressure but...only 3 weeks left!! gogogoooo
Heres some w.i.p. on head now that I actually have time to work on this thing.
It's going to be a combo of "A" & "C"...there's elements in both that I think will work for design.
I'm going to switch over today and get base geo for body done.
