Luan the Chaos Monk:

Backstory:
Luan, a member of the higher ranks of the Archaic Polycount Monk Orders has been chosen by the Abbot to do what needs to be done in order for the glory of the Polycount empire to prevail.
Luan has been granted the utmost honour as a Chaos Monk, to wear The Eye of Dissonance against our enemies.
This artifact makes him possessed by chaos itself, as if it was a demon, and gives him an aura that distorts reality.
Even his trusty steed, sir Manhands, is transfigured by this aura.
Universal laws are broken, 1+1 is no longer 2 in his presence.
Even the fabric of space and time itself is changed by him.
Men in his presence goes insane when looking upon him, running away in mindless blabbering trying to solve all the paradoxes Luan have twisted their mind with.
If a machine is lucky, they just break down because of their order has become corrupted and no longer functioning. if their unlucky their body's turn from metal into living flesh and they develop a self conscious, only to seconds later suffer the same fate as any living man would.
Since a machine's motto is order, wouldn't chaos itself be the ultimate solution?

Diggin' the eye motif on Sir Manhands! And the eye on Luan's hand signifying his gift of enlightenment, totally awesome...and the twist with the chaos enlightenment is nice. Definitely some strong inspiration for a piece like this, and its coming along nicely. Seems to have some Lovecraft influence as well in the description. I would almost like to see some more character in his face or expression to really bring the piece alive. Keep it up, looks great!

The monk is cool but also very generic, maybe some tattos, lether armor or decoration on his cloth.
The steed and Luan before he gets his fancy schmancy fab5 makeover in mudbox. no girl will turn this guy down when I'm done with him. :P
