Love the new concept/idea w/ the death-worm, just be mindful of your polylimit. If you go this route, most of your polys will go the mount, which could be a good move.
I like your first design of the death worm a lot better than your second. It had a lot more substance and a much more interesting silhouette, not to mention a gaping maw filled with sharp teeth! Great concept overall though, can't wait to see more.
I like your latest illustrative concept the best so far. Perhaps adding some more detail such as spines, hairs, scales, armor, etc. to the body of the worm-like creature. Although leaving such things omitted could compliment some asymmetry. Couldn't hurt to try. Nice work!
well, the official polycount colors are black and green, so those should be incorperated somewhere in there... but no, there's no uniform color scheme being used for all the entries
Really digging this one. I think I like it better as a beast and rider though, having him as part of the worm kind of defeats a lot of the benefits of it being a worm. Plus, if he's just a rider, giving him a badass polycount collar would make more sense.
starting to remind me of an octopus ... thingy ... super cool idea I think the new idea woudl make more sense if the mouth became legs ... only because two mouths is kinda odd. (maybe just to me)
upper left and lower right are too normal, but the other rock.. i thought i like the lover left more than the dragon-like.. but the dragon looks also soo sick.. both are awesome..
Awesome!
I'd make that spear more intimidating, I like it's length though.
Have you considered other ranged weapons? (crossbow, bow, pistol, magical throwing daggers, magical shurikens)
I'm a big fan of how much you're fleshing this out. And I must say, nothing says creepy and gonna eat your soul like bleeding eyes. Especially when paired with spiked hair
Teriyaki, this is definetely looking cool, and love the undead direction ( We need more of that for sure! ) Curious to how the steed's tail looks, as the front looks cool as hell, I will check back to see how you progress.
I suppose I'm pretty late in joining the fanbase, but this guy is great Teriyaki. I have to say that when I saw your early designs I was worried about it reading as a dune knockoff, but then you went and created something cool and original. What I'm really impressed about is how well the rider and mount mesh visually-- not only does the color scheme match but the overall aesthetic. Really impressive man.
