This young talented cleric uses the sacred Lantern of the Ancients to channel the Earth Element to protect the promised lands and summon the rock lizards that dwell in the deserts of her home planet.
i would play with the white stripe patterns. the vertical pattern isnt helping with all the other elements being vertically oriented as well. add some swirls or patterns like on the feet. somethign to lead the eye across and around the body instead of straight up and down.
push the horn and 'hair' designs up and out. some glowy bits in teh rock parts
good basic design but she needs a bit more OOMPH! some STYLE! Dynamic! .
maybe play with proportions of the legs and arms. all that rock lifting could have altered her body.
It's coming along nicely, the rocks sticking out of the arm and boots could be bigger/more aggressive though to enhance the silhouette.
And maybe a more womanly figure, more of an hourglass shape?
At the moment her shoulders are a bit broad, and the hips too narrow, unless youre into muscle chicks
Jaco: Yeah, you're probably right about that. Her right arm can certainly be more aggressive.
I am however pondering slimming down on the boots, making them somewhat more sexy. Still that doesn't stop me from making the spiky rock pieces a bit bigger.
I've been putting off making her to womanly, will probably take it a bit more in that direction as soon as I get a feel for all the other elements.
It's a bit brown right now, but I would like to at least keep that as a primary color for this girl, since she's channeling the earth element to protect her and summon her beasts of war (coming later). Suggestions for the colorscheme would be great!
Ok guys, updated the concept a bit and included her summoned creature. Don't want to spend to much time on the concept, but this image should better convey what I'm going for.
Alright, I've been slacking off on this piece for a while now. Sorry about that! Only thing I've really got done since the concept stage is a simple base mesh for her head.
I took some time during my lunch hour today to sculpt out her face the way I've imagined it. Will give the hair it's own topology next, now that I've established the general form of it.

I definitely plan on adding lots of runes and cool stuff on all the rock pieces etc.

I will concentrate on getting my shape and silhouette right for now, so no color on this update.

Expect some more flowing cloth as well.
