I want to play in Dominance War too!
I'm terrible when it comes to drawing but I whipped up a few quick sketches and this is the character I'm leaning towards now.
He's a big armored fat guy, I'm thinking of calling him Glutton because hes big, and he takes everything. He would use a fire weapon, I was thinking a giant hammer, or some type of clobbering stick. He has the kid of one of his fallen rivals chained to him that carries his crap, helmet, shield, a big ol ham.
I need to work on his silhouette some, it's kind of boring. He also needs to be much more grotesque, I want him to have a feel like he's bursting out of his armor.
lemmie know what you think

I do think, if you go for 'glutton' and he's monstrusly big, devouring thing, then yeah he needs to be more bulging. Make him fat, grotesque. have some of those bands that hold his armor up, snapped from the pressure of flesh.
As he's now, he's cool, but he could be alot meaner, nastier and terrifying
I love the slave kid too, he's my favorite part of this one. I want him to be opposite of the big guy, he'll be very thin maybe with a distended belly. He'll probably be bald with maybe a few tufts of hair, very sickly anyways.
Did up some more drawing today, I wanted him to be more fat, so I made him less top heavy and through more weight into his belly. I think he still looks a bit large up top still. His armor I'm going to make resemble a frog head, it sort of has that look now, but I need to remove the large strap coming from under his arms and define the chestplate more. With the frog shapes there I can incorporate the team colors in a bit easier too.
Not to sure what i'm doing with the legs, I want metal on the upper leg and knees, but I'm a bit worried about how they are going to squish in there. If it looks to messy I'll just go with pants of some sort. The boots I was thinking almost a large bucket shape, with nubs sticking out for toes.
His left arm, holding the chain, I want all in metal, so I need to start making some gloves. The other one I'm fine in flesh, but I'm going to remove the spikes and just keep them on the left.
Comments are always welcome
and try to make the leg-armor dynamic, so it can hold on with the upper parts and don´t make him look superslow
I was thinking of switching out the skull shoulder and swapping in a shoulder with the polycount smiley on it. I think this could look cool, and be less poly's on the final model.
Toying around with some leg armor, I like how the Knee pads are working as well as how the thigh plates have a similar curve as the chest plates. Boot's I'm not so thrilled with...
Cleaned up the chestplate some, I have a cool idea for the back that I need to draw up. Basically it has a lot of leather straps that are holding up the armor coming together at the spine and held together by big clasps, they should give an interesting profile.
like it alot, forget to mention it in my last post
