I know kinda what I want. I want a skull floating in a jar. Other than that Im really open to suggestions.

The idea is that hes a general from a previous war who has preserved himself using arcane magics.

Pretty cool idea - I'd definitely push the way he's contained though, get it off a generic skeleton body, you can basically do ANYTHING for a body when you have a skull in a jar for a head, so make it something fresh.

Agreed with MoP. His host body should be unique, not a regular infantryman as seen in your first concept, maybe a dead king. And remember the energy source criteria, probably darkness/void in this case. He could be a necromancer, stealing the best parts from his dead enemies and adding them to his own body, that could make for an interesting character

It's a bit weird that his head is in a magic preservation jar, but it's still the same as the rest of the body, i.e. a skeleton. I'd expect the head to be decaying-but-not-skeletal or a whole new body altogether since his death.

Thanks for all the comments and especially ideas. I did some thumbs to play with body shapes and what not.



I still think I can make a more hilarious concept somehow. I wanna go mostly realistic style wise (the skull will look like the drawings though) since my portfolio is a bit lacking. I think I also need some cloth since cloth is a weakness of mine.

Maybe I'll figure something out.

My biggest weakness is details. Hope I can come up with some.
