Simply put, all my materials are "hella bright", regardless of what scene I put anything in. Brand new scene? Super bright! The materials have the same values as the regular grey blinns, but have a much more 'incandescent' appearance in their thumbnails, and in the viewport.
If I can't fix it by Sunday, I'll probably just reinstall. Just wondering if anybody else has had this.

Also make sure Object Properties -> Vertex Channel Display is unchecked.
